SAD instrumental jazz - Songs that pull the heartstrings?

I’m looking for SAD instrumental jazz. The answers I saw to the last thread on this had lots of great tunes, but they were either mellow instead of sad or had vocals. I guess I’m looking for something along the lines of cry me a river without the vocals or maybe something with a sobbing sax. You know, something that will really tug at the heartstrings. Anyone have some ideas?

Gerry Mulligan - In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning (SOBBING SAX) http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=ba-jxavJx6o

Oscar Peterson - Lush Life http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe00XBuPVO0

Hank Jones - Willow Weep for Me http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=BUWZzj0TU1s

Ocean's Eleven - Blues in the Night http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=sj_zodfi4lw

The saddest songs that immediately come to mind are…

Booker Little’s version of If I Should Loose You.

    Charles Mingus, Invisible Lady

    Horace Silver, The Lonely Woman.

These are not just mellow, they are melancholy.

There is a great piano trio version of Cry Me a River on the CD called “Soular Energy” by the Ray Brown Trio (Gene Harris on Piano).

Another Ray Brown Trio CD called “Live at the Loa–Summer Wind” has a tune called “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man.” I’ve listened to that song countless times and each time I’m so moved that I feel ready to cry.
