What is some great instrumental jazz for romancing my lady friend?

‘Round Midnight. Many versions but the Miles Davis / John Coltrane recording is a definite.

Whisper Not. I like both the Jazztet version (horns) and Wes Montgomery’s (guitar)

Body and Soul - Many versions.

Pretty much anything by Dexter Gordon.

Pretty much anything by Bill Evans trio for something even a more laid back.

That and the other answers should be a nice start.

Cocteau Twins or the sound track from the movie Twin Peaks are good choices.

My wife first told me she loved me as she listened to Miles Davis’
“Porgy -n- Bess”…but ballads by Chet Baker and John Coltrane are good as well……and let’s not forget Frank Sinatra either.

I like the bossa nova collection.
Stones on Bossa Nova, Bob Marley on Bossa Nova, 90´s and Bossa Nova, as well as Jamie Cullum.
