is joined by Ashley Alexander (vocals), Steve Labonte (drums & vocals), Kevin Magarian (guitar), Lee Lundy (bass) and Face (piano). The group performs renditions of jazz ballads and mainstream standards, including Blues in the Night, Summertime and Stepping Out.
The Jazz Nights @ ALMA concert series takes place in a café-like setting at ALMAs Contemporary Art Gallery. The concerts feature performances by both established and up-and-coming groups from the New England and surrounding areas. Past concerts have included performances by Vardan Ovsepian, John Baboians The Be-Bop Guitars, Earthsound and the Armen Donelian Trio.
Tickets are $10 each and ALMA members receive two free tickets when they purchase four. Advance reservations are welcome and may be made by e-mailing info@almainc.org or calling (617) 926-2562.
