Is there only one jazz station on the radio across the nation?

It seems like, if I want a change of pace and switch to a jazz radio station anywhere in the US, it's all the exact same music. Maybe there is only one central location that broadcasts from coast to coast. They always seem to say "Smooooth Jazz." Am I wrong?

It just all depends where you live. Some places have a higher listener demographic for jazz while others don't. (I know that's true where I live; it's practically all country stations!) You could always check your local NPR station, as I know, at certain times and days, they play a variety of music styles, including jazz.

You can always try jazz stations online; there's a ton out there! But I've included some sites with actual jazz radio station listings. Hope they help!
