   I use a website called http://www.live365.com that has over 10,000 stations with a search so you can just enter a few artists names or you can select by genre or catagory. Lot's of them are open (free) and no commercials. I have it running in the background all the time, streams well if you have a good connection.

   I usually just go to Pandora.com, type in Miles Davis, Billie Holiday etc. and listen to whatever comes up.

   WKCR 89.9 is a good jazz station with some classical music and opera. Theres a Charlie Parker show on 8:20 in the morning with a great disc jockey named Phil Schaap.
