In this video maybe, but what about the album version? I’m 99% sure that he plays it with the foot pedal there.

    I think the bass …
I think the bass comes from the hammond’s foot pedal, not his left hand.

Very nice. I have a few albums of Redman’s. Wish I could find more. So far I have found a few drummers that I really like: Brian Blade, Joe Morelli, Martin Valihora. This is a very nice sounding trio for sure.

    Blade is the …
Blade is the ultimate MUSICIAN on the drums. His playing is an art form in itself. Love Joshua Redman, he’s one of my influences but that song wouldn’t be the same without Brian Blade !

I got to see Brian Blade perform with Wayne Shorter recently and it was an unbelievable combination. I didn’t recognize Blade for a little bit, but when I finally realized who it was I couldn’t understand why it took me so long to figure out.

    Brian is awesome :)
Brian is awesome :) Josh is unique.. I play piano.. and I have more of the things Sam Yahel ever created.. He has great mind and feeling.. I like the trio how they manage to create sound and mood.. It’s not so had to create chords like these ones.. music is not only chords..
