    I bought this wonderful album (Colaboration)some 40 years ago in a small music shop in the Bronx and have not stopped listening to it since then. Laurindo was a true master and his ‘collaborating’ with MJQ is the best of all worlds. What a treat for us!

    the first part is …
    the first part is amazing but i have another one in audio where vibraphone solo and the piano solo are different. indeed, the audio version( that i have)sounds better for me because of the vibpne. and piano solo and the last part of the guitar. greetings!

    Presti-Lagoya played classic. Laurindo played classic and he improvised jazz as well.He was the first to play a nylon strung guitar in front of a big band.

    For anyone who likes Laurindo Almeida, get the Stan Getz/Laurindo Almeida CD from 1963. Absolutely CLASSIC tunes which really ROCK…er…SAMBA!!!
