    Yeah, I had the privilege of seeing them play live in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1958. One of my favorite groups of all time. Tightly knit, smooth, impeccable swing; with lyrical, flowing lines.

    I had an honor of watching them live in Freiburg, Germany in 1992 when I was a student in that country. When they played this tune, I could see tears from people sitting next to me as they could contain the sweetness resulting from the harmony of the swinging style. No Jazz Group will come close to the Modern Jazz Quartet in this century, probably in the next century, great music indeed…..
